Open class MotoGP leader Aleix Espargaro is to enter a team in next year's Moto3 World Championship, following a successful run in the same class of the Spanish Championship.

Espargaro's RBA Racing Team, also known as Boe41 Motorsport, have contested the 2014 CEV season with Gabriel Rodrigo their biggest success - placing fifth in the title hunt.

Rodrigo also looks set to remain with the team for the 2015 world championship, according to Marca.com, with the second rider on the team's KTM machines still to be announced. Rodrigo recently replaced the injured Niklas Ajo at the Sachsenring, finishing 22nd.

Espargaro's move follows in the footsteps of Valentino Rossi, who launched his VR46 team with Romano Fenati and Francesco Bagnaia this season, and also supports a team in the Spanish Moto3 series in partnership with Aspar.

The pair join a long tradition of teams using the CEV as a feeder class with the Cuna de Campones, also long associated with Jorge Martinez and the Valencia circuit, Calvo Team, Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0,0, and Mahindra all running outfits in the Moto3 division this year.

Espargaro's own 2015 future is yet to be confirmed, with the Spaniard heavily linked to a Factory ride with the returning Suzuki team. Younger brother Pol, the reigning Moto2 champion, is set to remain at Tech 3 Yamaha.
