Rossi loses bet with friends.

Valentino Rossi's mum got the World Champion to have his hair cut and trim his beard before riding in the opening grand prix of the season. Rossi's friends bet him he would not have his hair cut until after the Suzuka race after he won the title in Australia last year. However, Mum would have nothing of it.

"She said I looked like a wolf and would not let me into her house and so I cut the hair and trimmed the beard."
