Qatar announces strict dress code.
The organisers of next year's Qatar Grand Prix were present at Sepang last weekend, where the MotoGP paddock learnt of the strict dress code visitors will have to abide by in 2004.
Last week, work started on the circuit which will stage the very first MotoGP race in the Middle East, in October next year. However, while the Gulf state prepared to welcome the series, it did not appear to accept all of the 'trappings' it entails.

In their information CD, the organisers informed visitors that no alcohol (including champagne) could be brought into the country, and that ladies should wear long sleeves, no short skirts and see-through clothes. Meanwhile, men must not wear vests or 'short' shorts.
