MotoGP broadcasting took another step forwards at Aragon with the presentation of live, OnBoard, 360-degree coverage.

Billed as 'taking fans on the on the most spectacular pillion ride in the world', Dorna is now providing TV broadcasters with live footage from its pioneering 'Zoetrope' 360-degree OnBoard system, introduced last year.

The four-camera 'Zoetrope' system is named after a pre-film animation device originating in the nineteenth century, which comes from the Greek words for life (zoe) and turning (tropos).

The idea was born from the concept of trying to show fans what a passenger ride with the world’s fastest motorcycle riders would be like, with live 360 a key focus of Dorna’s long-running and ongoing commitment to OnBoard technology.

Fans also have access to this new development via motogp.com and the Official MotoGP app.
