Roush link up with old sponsor.

Last season Kevin Lepage produced some of his best NASCAR Winston Cup performances to date in the #16 TV Guide Ford Taurus. This year, without the backing of the media and communication's company, Lepage has been in a slump. He has just two top ten finishes and lies 25th in the points standings.

TV Guide will join FamilyClick.com as sponsors of the car and have already begun discussions about a promotional tour with the car across America. Last season TV Guide organised a twelve city tour with Lepage and the car, these activities were largely responsible for the NASCAR driver's issue of TV Guide, released the week before the Daytona 500, being one of the best selling copies of the magazine this year.

Roush hopes that the addition of TV Guide will finally see some stability for the #16 car. Last year Lepage began the season with backing from PRIMESTAR who withdrew their support in April. TV Guide then stepped in in-time for the Food City 500 at Bristol and remained with the car for the remainder of the season in which Lepage scored a number of impressive finishes including his first ever top five result in the gruelling Southern 500 at Darlington.

At the beginning of the 2000 campaign, Lepage appeared with backing from MAC Tools in the Bud Shootout and then Northern Light sponsorship for the Daytona 500. However after just three races Northern Light was gone as it announced a deal with the Indy Racing League. Just days before The Cracker Barrell 500 in Atlanta back in March, FamilyClick.com came aboard to support Lepage who rewarded their faith with a tenth place finish at the next race in Darlington.

"We are thrilled to have TV Guide rejoin our No 16 FamilyClick.com team," said Roush who is also looking for a title sponsor for Mark Martin. "TV Guide was a strong partner of ours last season and we look forward to a successful 2000."
