Results from Race 2 at the 2026 Hungarian WorldSBK from Balaton Park, race 12 of the 2026 season.
Having made it 15 consecutive wins in the Superpole Race, Nicolo Bulega moved his winning streak onto 16 races in Race 2 at Balaton Park. It was also his 25th podium in a row, matching the record in WorldSBK, as well as his 12th win from 12 races this season, making Bulega's the best ever start to a WorldSBK season.
Iker Lecuona was within a second of his team-mate for most of the race but fell back at the end to the tune of 2.5 seconds.
Yari Montella was third from the end of the first lap after Lorenzo Baldassarri forced himself and Alvaro Bautista wide at turn 15. Baldassarri closed back in on Montella in the final laps, but Montella had just enough pace to hold on.
Baldassarri took fourth ahead of Garrett Gerloff, the leading non-Ducati rider in fifth.
Sam Lowes' progress from 11th on the grid was slow, but he got to sixth in the end, ahead of Alberto Surra and Tarran Mackenzie.
Yamahas rounded out the top-10 thanks to Remy Gardner and Stefano Manzi, the latter taking his first top-10 finish in WorldSBK.
