The 777RR Motorsport team will return to the British Superbike EVO ranks in 2011 after announcing the signing of Matteo Mossa.

The team fielded Pauli Pekkanen aboard a Suzuki in 2010, the Finn improving as the season wore on to finish fourth in class and with a maiden race win at Silverstone to his name.

However, with Pekkanen moving to the Supersport class - with 777RR - in 2011, the team has secured the services of Mossa, who arrives on these shores having enjoyed success in the Finnish Superbike Cup.

"I'm very excited about this opportunity to ride for 777 RR Motorsport team and in BSB-Evo," the Finnish-based Italian said. "I'm going to England with great expectation and I am feeling confident because of the information my team and Pauli Pekkanen gained last year. I hope my aggressive riding style suits the tracks of England!"

Mossa's signing signals the latest boost for the EVO series, bringing its number of entries to nine alongside Glen Richards, Graeme Gowland, Alex Lowes, Barry Burrell, Patric Muff, Craig Fitzpatrick, Daniel Kneen and James Hillier
