Walker and Agostini head Cadwell Park International Classic
Cadwell Park is gearing up for the all-new International Classic this month with motorsport superstars Murray Walker and Giacomo Agostini headlining the event on the 25-26 July.
The Lincolnshire circuit, which is set to host round eight of the MCE British Superbike championship on the 21-23 August, will welcome an all-inclusive range of motorcycles from throughout the ages and will be joined by some racing greats.
15-time world champion Agostini and commentator Walker head an impressive guest line up, including Phil Read, Superbike veterans Chris Walker and John Reynolds and many others who've made headlines at the Lincolnshire track. The stars will ride a number of bikes from their glory eras in special parades and demonstrations.
A special Q&A session with 2009 British Supersport champion Steve Plater and former World Superbike racer James Haydon will also be hosted along with autograph sessions.
The event will see the International Classic Grand Prix series take place, which relives the 1974-1984 era, as well as a celebration of the Superbike racing era of the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Away from the on-track action, a breathtaking air display has been arranged including a Messerschmitt 109, a Supermarine Spitfire as well as a flypast from the RAF Memorial Flight's Spitfire and Hawker Hurricane to mark 75 years on from the Battle of Britain.
If that wasn't enough the event will also host a motorcycle trials display with 11-time British champion Sammy Miller giving an exclusive demonstration.
