McRae visited the Knockhill round of the championship with his two children Johnny and Hollie.

The 1995 World Rally Champion, who comes from Lanark in Scotland, has been a long-time friend of the team. He rides a Suzuki GSX-R1000 on the road and track for fun and is looking forward to testing the Rizla Suzuki GSX-R1000 later in the year.

"I think the Rizla Suzuki set up is great and I'll be cheering on John Reynolds and Yukio Kagayama," said McRae.

"Riding a Superbike is a bit like driving a rally car, you need to find limits and it's all about balance, control and co-ordination. I hope to get a ride on the Rizla Suzuki GSX-R1000 Superbike at the end of the season. Maybe I'll get some advice on riding from Yuki, I think people can relate my driving style to his riding style and we'll click together at some stage."
