Former Gladiator and ITV's BSB presenter, Jane "Rio" Omorogbe is always up for a new challenge so when the opportunity came up to test a Vivaldi Suzuki Superbike, there was not stopping her.

The test took place at Croft during torrential rain prior to the Croft British Superbike weekend, with Jane riding Ollie Bridwell's machine. When not presenting Jane is a freelance journalist working as the motorcycle correspondent for The Sunday Times, The Sun Newspaper and the Press Association. She spends a lot of time on various motorcycles so a 200bhp superbike wasn't going to pose a problem and neither was the heavy rain.

Speaking to Crash.net Radio after the event Jane said, "When I tested the Vivaldi bike it was absolutely torrential rain. Turn one had a puddle that was about six inches deep and I followed Scott Smart through it and it parted like the red sea. Then when I came through it was like tidal wave, it was good fun! The only thing I can say is when you get out the back it is quite flat and you can pick up the pace a bit, but the wind is just gusting across, I can't imagine what it must be like for the 125 riders."

Jane will be in action again this weekend at Cadwell Park for the eleventh round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship.
