Rob Austin Racing has confirmed it will run under the WIX Racing banner for the 2013 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.

Team boss Rob Austin will again lead the driver line-up for the Audi team, with Will Bratt signed up for a full season in the second car.

Bratt competed in a number of events last year with the team after switching focus from single-seaters.

"The partnership with WIX is fantastic for us and will provide the stability we need to be able to concentrate on winning races," Austin said. "It also allows us to take big steps forward in the development of the car.

"I have always maintained that the potential is there to win races and this year we will show it. 2013 promises to be an exciting year."

Wayne Stevens, sales and marketing director for WIX Filters, insisted the decision to turn a one-off deal at Brands Hatch last year into a full-season agreement was an easy one.

"We dipped our toe in the water with RAR at the final BTCC round last season and the response we had from it was just amazing," he said. "After hearing feedback from our customers, and in particular our race weekend guests, the decision to team up with RAR and Rob was an easy one."

The team will also use Field Motorsport for its engines this season - extending a deal that started mid-way through 2012.
