F1 heads for Turkey

With the European Formula One season in full swing, the teams and drivers heads to Istanbul next weekend for the Turkish Grand Prix.

The event has been part of the F1 schedule since 2005 and has been dominated by Felipe Massa, who took his third successive victory last season. Current Ferrari team-mate Kimi Raikkonen is the only other driver to win in Turkey, having secured victory in the first event while with McLaren.

Istanbul contains one of the most challenging corners on the F1 calendar with the quadruple-apex turn eight but has been hit by some problems, including the 2008 event when Bruno Senna hit a stray dog during a GP2 race.
