Peugeot Repeats Quit Threat.

Engine supplier Peugeot has reiterated its threat to withdraw from F1 should results not come its way, and may do so before its current contract with Prost expires.

The French company has an exclusive deal with Alain Prost's team which runs until the year 2000, but motorsport spokesman Corrado Provera has admitted that the company will only remain in the sport (providing that the results are as good as we like.) Prost has suffered from an uncompetitive chassis this season, and has yet to score a point in 1998.

Provera also dismissed rumours that the French company will supply customer units to Arrows in 1999.
