Based in Ulm, Germany, Liqui Moly is a leading manufacturer of motor oil, greases, fuel and oil additives, and car care products.

This announcement brings Liqui Moly back to Formula One after a nine-year absence, the company having enjoyed a tradition of motor sport sponsorship throughout its 45 year history which includes Formula One, sports car racing, touring cars and motorcyle racing.

Peter Baumann, Marketing Director of Liqui Moly commented: "We are very happy to be back in Formula One and to have found a partner like the Jordan team. I believe this activity will be good for our business, increasing brand awareness and enhancing our image globally."

Eddie Jordan, Chief Executive of Jordan Grand Prix added: "It's very satisfying to attract new sponsorship from a reputable brand such as Liqui Moly and we look forward to working with them. I am delighted they chose to return to Formula One with us and I hope we achieve a successful partnership both on and off the track."

Liqui Moly's branding will appear on the Jordan Honda EJ12s and the sponsorship includes the provision of a range of products which the team will use during the season.
