Orange confirmed today it will not renew its Formula One sponsorship agreement with Arrows Grand Prix International.

The three-year sponsorship agreement with Arrows began in March 2000, and ends with the last race of the current 2002 season at Suzuka, Japan.

At this stage Orange has no plans to undertake another team sponsorship in Formula One.

Orange is reviewing its future sponsorship plans and an announcement will be made shortly.

Jean-Fran?ois Pontal, Chief Executive Officer, Orange SA said: "In the last three years the Formula One programme for Orange has exceeded all expectations both in terms of delivering worldwide brand exposure and providing a platform for showcasing Orange products and services in the hi-tech environment of Formula One."

Meanwhile this is further bad news for Tom Walkinshaw and Arrows, as the team continues to struggle to stay alive.
