Rubens: I'm so glad to have driven the F2002.

Ferrari #2 Rubens Barrichello has admitted he feels proud having driven the record breaking F2002 - but that he won't be crying when its replaced by the F2003-GA.

"I feel so glad that I have driven a car like the F2002," said Rubens. "It was a fantastic car to drive and gave me my best moments yet in Formula 1. I really wanted to give that car its last win and that should have been the case in Brazil, but it did not work out like that.

"I feel so glad that I have driven a car like the F2002," said Rubens. "It was a fantastic car to drive and gave me my best moments yet in Formula 1. I really wanted to give that car its last win and that should have been the case in Brazil, but it did not work out like that.

"Cars are just cars, but I have a special feeling for this one. I won't go so far as to cry over it, but I would thank the team for giving me the F2002 to drive."

Despite a bad cold, Barrichello has been testing the successor to the F2002, the F2003-GA this week.

"I could not miss this important test session," he maintained. "For obvious reasons, Michael [Schumacher] is not here and in any case, I needed to make adjustments to my seat position. I did 63 laps Wednesday and it felt better and I did a longer run on Thursday.

"Luca Badoer has done two race distance runs, which is a good sign in terms of reliability and it seems the engineers have sorted out the small problems we had before. I am optimistic for the next race."
