Jarno Trulli may be able to lay claim to the 'unluckiest man in Formula One' title this year, but has vowed to keep on keeping on until he gets the breakthrough he feels he deserves.

The Renault driver qualified on the front row of the grid at Silverstone almost two weeks ago, and got the jump on pole winner Rubens Barrichello at the start to lead the opening stages of the race. Although he twice managed to pull away from his pursuers as he sought to open out a big enough lead to hold station through the pit-stops, Trulli's luck again conspired against him with no less than two safety car periods interrupting the first twelve laps.

After that, the race turned against the Italian, who could not run as quickly in traffic as he had in clear air at the front of the field, and he eventually came home in an unrepresentative sixth place. However, despite the disappointment, Trulli remains upbeat about his chances of running at the head of the field at Hockenheim.

"Before every race, I am confident we can do a good a job," he insisted, "We have a strong package, and the essential thing now is to get everything right on Sunday. Circumstances obviously prevented that at Silverstone, but I am feeling good about the races ahead."
