Briatore to be dad at 53.
Renault F1 team boss Flavio Briatore is to become a father at the ripe old age of 53, following the news that current partner, model Heidi Klum, is several months pregnant.
German-born Klum and flamboyant Italian Briatore have been an item for the past year, and were first snapped together in the Formula One paddock during the French GP at Magny-Cours. Drafted in to run the Benetton team during its mid-1990s heyday, Briatore was always regarded a something of a lothario, but admitted earlier in the year that he would consider settling down with the 30-year old Klum.

"Heidi is the one, I know that," he was quoted as saying by Sky News, "She's fantastic. With our relationship, everything is possible. I'm not ruling anything out - marriage, a family, with Heidi I can imagine doing all that.."
A statement issued on behalf of the couple revealed that the baby was due in the spring.
