Minardi title sponsor, Wilux, will welcome driver, Gianmaria Bruni, to its factory in San Don? di Piave, near Venice today.

The visit is intended to recognise the occasion of the young Roman's first Formula One race in Italy - this weekend's San Marino Grand Prix, at Imola.

Wilux, which manufactures shower cubicles and baths for the medium- and top-class segments of the market, has headquarters in the Netherlands, but enjoys a very strong Italian connection via its design and manufacturing facility in San Don? di Piave.

Bruni, who has demonstrated both impressive speed and steely determination in the first three Formula One events of his career, will meet the city authorities and fans in the main square, before posing for photos and signing autographs in front of his Wilux Minardi Cosworth race car.

He will then tour the Wilux factory and help unveil a brand-new product range inspired by the world of Formula One, before sitting down to lunch with VIP guests and local journalists.

"We are very proud to welcome Gianmaria Bruni to our factory in San Don? di Piave," comments Wilux CEO, Ruud Wildschut. "Last year, we launched our sponsorship arrangement with Minardi at the halfway point of the Formula One season, and then witnessed an amazing increase in sales of 42 per cent. Starting at the beginning of April this year, Wilux is also supplying the Italian market. Needless to say, we hope to create the same kind of brand awareness here in Italy that we have achieved recently in other countries around the world."
