BMW Sauber's Nick Heidfeld will change managers at the end of the season, following news that Andre Theuerzeit will replace Werner Heinz.

Theuerzeit and Heinz will now work together this year in order to ensure a smooth transition.

Heinz's deal with Heidfeld expires at the end of 2008 and his association with the German will end officially on December 31, by which time Theuerzeit and his sports communications agency, b.a.n.g (business.assets.network.goal), will assume sole responsibility.

Cologne-based lawyer Dr Stefan Seitz meanwhile has been appointed by Heidfeld and his new management team to act as his legal adviser.
