Kevin Ceccon says he only has eyes for the GP3 title after switching to Arden International for the upcoming season

Kevin Ceccon says he's focused on claiming the drivers' title after joining Arden International for the upcoming GP3 series.

The Italian driver competed in the final four rounds of last season's GP3 championship with Jenzer Motorsport, notching up four points-scoring finishes. The 2011 Auto GP champion has switched between GP2 and GP3 over the past four seasons, claiming podiums in both series.

The 21-year-old will contest a full season in GP3 and says he's thrilled to join the British team.

"There are decisive moments in life and this is definitively the case for me," Ceccon said. "It was under the heat of the desert that I found clarity and I shall embrace the heat of this difficult competition with serenity to fight for the 2015 Series.

"I will spare no efforts in the battle for the title with humbleness and with the determination to make this the most important year of my career. I am honoured to receive the support from all of those who believed in me in 2015 and I am very excited join Arden International, my new family."

Arden International team principal Garry Honer added: "We are really pleased to have Kevin join our team this season. We tested him in the post-season sessions late 2013 and were impressed with his focus and determination. It is great to have an experienced driver complement our current line-up."

Ceccon joins the alrady announced Aleksander Bosak at Arden and the team are expected to name a third GP3 driver in the coming weeks.
