Lola retains supply contract.

Motorsport's governing body, the FIA, has announced no change in suppliers for the International F3000 Championship, handing Lola a renewed period as chassis builder for the series.

In a brief statement issued today [Wednesday], the FIA revealed that, following the tendering procedures for the series covering the 2002, 2003 and 2004 seasons, the World Motor Sport Council agreed to retain the existing suppliers.

This policy also extended to gearbox, engine, tyre and electronics suppliers, with Lola, Zytek, Avon and PI retaining their contracts for the next three seasons.
