Buemi to stand in for Ammermuller again.

Sebastien Buemi will get a second chance to impress the GP2 Series fraternity further when he steps in for Michael Ammermuller once again for the latest round of the championship at the Nurburgring.

Formula 3 Euroseries front runner Buemi made his GP2 debut at Monaco where he stunned onlookers by qualifying fourth and finishing seventh in a car he has barely driven.

As such, when ART Grand Prix and Red Bull agreed that Ammermuller was still hobbled by the wrist injury that has so far plagued his season, Buemi was the obvious choice to get to stand in.

Although it means Ammermuller will not get the chance to compete in front of his home crowd, Buemi will instead have the opportunity to impress again on a Nurburgring circuit he is familiar with having competed on it during his time in Formula 3.
