UPDATE: Good news from the Marc VDS Moto2 team: "Sam [Lowes] has gone through medical check and the x-ray is not showing any broken bone." Title contender Sam Lowes taken to the Medical Centre to have a possible wrist injury examined after a strange and nasty fall at Turn 9 in the closing stages saw the Englishman bucked from the bike, then clipped by his machine as he slid into the gravel. The top 14 riders after FP3 (combined times) receive direct access to the second and final part of qualifying.
