Nakano high-sided from his D'Antin Yamaha at well over 200kph, and both he and his M1 were sent cartwheeling through the Brno gravel and into the tyre wall.

Nakano had qualified a provisional eighth yesterday, one place behind the top Yamaha of Carlos Checa.
