Fortuna concentrates on Lorenzo.
Having announced its departure from title sponsorship of the Gresini Honda MotoGP team, despite riders Marco Melandri and Toni Elias taking four victories this season, cigarette manufacturer Fortuna will instead concentrate all its backing behind newly crowned 250cc world champion Jorge Lorenzo.
Lorenzo will thus continue to race a Fortuna liveried factory Aprilia in the 2007 250cc World Championship, but the Spaniard is then expected to graduate to the premier MotoGP class in 2008.
