Qatar MotoGP test times - Friday (FINAL)

Friday marked the penultimate day of MotoGP pre-season testing, in Qatar.

With the season-opening grand prix weekend - to be held at the same Losail circuit on March 16-18 - featuring an earlier track schedule this year, testing takes place from 1-9pm.

Lorenzo was the only rider to set a lap time in the opening two hours on Friday, not helped by a light rain shower, before serious testing got underway from 4pm.

Suzuki's Iannone snatched the top spot from Dovizioso in the final 20-minutes, by which time the Ducati rider had already finished for the day.

Saturday's final day will definitely end with a wet track; water trucks being brought in to soak the circuit to try riding in the wet under floodlights...
