Five months after expanding his Charlotte-based gallery, NASCAR artist Sam Bass is once again expanding - this time to Texas.

Members of The Speedway Club at Texas Motor Speedway will now have the opportunity to experience the artwork of Bass - NASCAR's premier artist - first-hand as the new Sam Bass Gallery is set for it's grand opening on Saturday 31 March.

"I am truly excited about the future opportunities the Sam Bass Texas Motor Speedway Gallery will provide me to showcase my art and share it with the race fans," Bass said, "Texas Motor Speedway is a facility second to none and I am very proud to be a part of it."

The gallery, located on the eighth floor of The Speedway Club, will be offering several limited edition prints such as 'Eyes of Texas' featuring Rusty Wallace and a Lone Star State theme, and 'A Texas Size Win!', the programme cover art for the upcoming Harrah's 500 race weekend. A variety of posters will also be available for purchase.

Although the existing Speedway World gift shop will continue to offer a few framed pieces and posters, The Speedway Club gallery will offer updated artwork and will be exclusively Bass' work. No other souvenirs will be for sale providing for a more 'artsy' atmosphere.

Bass will be available to sign autographs from the new gallery on Saturday 31 March between 1030-1300, and again the next day at the same time. The grand opening is scheduled for 1030 on the Saturday and the gallery will remain open until 1700. The facility will be open to all Speedway Club members who have race tickets and Speedway Club member cards.
