Stewart's pit crew win in Dover.

Tony Stewart's pit crew took home the $20,000 first-place cheque as a result of winning the McDonald's Drive-Thru Pit Championship fuelled by POWERade in Sunday's MBNA 400 'Salute to Heroes' event at Dover International Speedway.

It was the second victory of the season for Stewart's crew, which also finished first at the Daytona 500 opener, and keeps it third in the chase for the $200,000 bonus that will go to the season champion. Dale Earnhardt Jr's crew continues to lead in the standings with 501 points, 33 more than Elliott Sadler's team and 37 more than Stewart's crew.

Stewart's Home Depot/Joe Gibbs Racing Chevrolet spent the least amount of time on Dover's pit-road with a time of 305secs. Earnhardt's Budweiser Chevy was second at 338secs and Kurt Busch's Sharpie Ford third at 355secs.

"The crew gave me great stops all day long," said Stewart, who finished second in the 400-mile race, "They were definitely on their game at Dover. We led a bunch of laps and contended for the win, and they were a big reason why."

Stewart's over-the-wall crew consists of: Chuck White, Tom Dean, Mike Lingerfelt, Jay Barry, Todd Foster, Jeff 'Gooch' Patterson and Brian Larson. The crew chief is Greg Zipadelli and pit-stop coordinator Paul Alepa.
