Final part of Indy testing begins today.

NASCAR Nextel Cup Series testing will resumes at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway today (Monday) with 12 drivers, including past Brickyard 400 winners Dale Jarrett and Bill Elliott and former NASCAR champions Tony Stewart and Terry Labonte, scheduled to test.

Should all 12 teams provisionally entered to participate in the two-day test turn up, it would bring the number of teams to have travelled to the 2.5-mile quad oval in recent weeks to 37.

22 teams tested at IMS last week, led by rookie Brian Vickers at a speed of 181.554mph while another three teams, including former Brickyard 400 winner Bobby Labonte tested the week before. Labonte headed that test at a speed of 176.013mph.

Of all the multi-car Nextel Cup teams, only Richard Childress Racing and Chip Ganassi Racing have more than one car present this week, while Robert Yates Racing's Jarrett will be a lonely man in the only Ford entered to test.
