BUSCH: Former team boss gets prison term.
Former NASCAR Busch Series team co-owner Gary Jones has been sentenced to more than three years in Federal US prison for embezzling more than $1 Million in order to finance his race team.
Jones, who along with Angela Harkness, co-owned Angela Motorsports, which competed in the Busch Series in 2002, starting just one race.

Jones was also the Vice President of a branch of the Wells Fargo Bank in his hometown of Austin, Texas, where he illegally got finances for the team.
Having signed veteran driver Mike McLaughlin for the 2003 season, the team folded days before the start of the campaign, leaving McLaughlin and crew chief Harold Holly out of work and many suppliers and team members unpaid.
On Friday, a Federal Judge in Texas sentenced Jones to three years and ten months in Federal Prison for stealing from his employer.
Harkness, who also pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bank fraud, is still wanted by the US law enforcement agencies and is believed to have left the United States.
In the team's only Busch Series start, the 2002 Ford 300 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway Jay Sauter and Kevin Lepage finished 25th and 37th respectively.
