Although Gordon's ultimate 16th place finish was a far cry from what he deserved after a spectacular day behind the wheel, his retro looking paint scheme was a major hit, and it will return again this weekend in Phoenix.

Even though it is designed to commemorate Cingular's growth into the United States' biggest wireless network carrier, the new scheme, in particular the shade of blue used, is reminiscent of 'The King' Richard Petty's famous STP schemes of yesteryear.
