Mears has been confirmed as one member of the driving staff for Ganassi's Target sponsored #03 Riley-Lexus in the February 5th-6th enduro and could find himself paired with Ganassi's IRL IndyCar Series drivers Scott Dixon and Darren Manning.

The three have been named as drivers of the #03 machine in the upcoming Daytona Test Days at the 3.56-mile Daytona International Speedway road course and would be a natural choice bearing in mind Manning, Dixon and Mears are all sponsored by Target.

McMurray has been named as one of three confirmed drivers for the team's new Century Mortgage sponsored #02 Riley-Lexus alongside former Ferrari and McLaren F1 driver Stefan Johansson and American Cort Wagner.

Neither McMurray nor Mears, who finished 11th and 22nd in the 2004 NASCAR Nextel Cup Championship, have raced a Daytona Prototype in earnest before, and their inclusion on the entry list pushes the number of full time Nextel Cup drivers set to participate in the Rolex 24 to nine.
