Guy Martin is preparing to swap two-wheels for four by taking part in a round of the British Rallycross Championship with Team RX Racing in 2016.

The road racer and TV star is yet to decide his 2016 racing plans but has confirmed he will remain with Tyco BMW and partner new team-mate Ian Hutchinson in the squad's roads campaign.

Martin has also expressed an interest in a US mountain bike race he wants to compete in which clashes with the Isle of Man TT, but is now also looking to make his debut at an unspecified round of the reinvigorated British Rally Championship and drive Team RX Racing's Ford Focus challenger.

It is understood the Lincolnshire star would only be making a one-off appearance at a round which fits within his 2016 schedule and hasn't given a timescale when he will be able to confirm where he will look to enter. Martin is currently appearing at the 2016 Autosport International Show alongside Team RX Racing and will also be performing at the live action arena.
