Barney's back!

Ian Barney has agreed to make a track return in Peterborough's British League Cup meetings. Barney has been coaching the club's youngsters but his experience will boost the Panthers in the new competition.

Now well in to the "advanced veteran" stage, Barney shoud still be able to turn a competitive wheel at Conference level and shouldn't have too much difficulty navigating Alwaton having spent much of his senior career with Peterborough.

Boss Jim Lynch said: "We turned to Ian because we were running out of options and we were delighted when he agreed to ride. With no guest facility available we could have been in trouble."
