Castagna returns for Euphony Classic.
Italian legend Armando Castagna is set to return to Britain to ride in the Euphony Classic on Monday night at Reading's Smallmead Stadium (7.30pm).
Indoor ice speedway at Hull in November.
The recently announced "King of the Rink" Ice Speedway Spectacular, to be held at the Hull Arena on Sunday 2 November 2003, has gained International recognition.

Benfield Sports International (BSI), rights holders of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix Series (SGP), has announced Poland's national postal services company, Polish Post, as title sponsor of the forthcoming Polish Grand Prix in Bydgoszcz.

Poland's Jarek Hampel is the new world under-21 champion after winning the title in convincing, but contravercial, circumstances in Kumla, Sweden on Saturday.

On Monday night at Smallmead Stadium, Reading Euphony Racers take on their M4 rivals Newport Wasps in Premier League action 7.30pm. The Wasps have had an indifferent 2003 season like the Racers, they currently lie 12th in the Premier League table, just two places ahead of Reading.

Only a small number of Speedway riders have ever had a career spanning quarter of a century. On Friday at Armadale Edinburgh superstar Peter Carr will celebrate reaching this mark along with 20 of his current fellow riders, plus some from the recent past, all friends from his time in the sport.

The Kyle Legault domination of Canadian speedway shows no sign of deterioration as he raced away with the Ontario Open Championship at the Paris speedway over the weekend. Philip Lemay took the division two event while Shawn Morrison was the division three victor.
Ales Dryml joins Poole.
Poole have snapped up Ales Dryml for their remaining Elite League meetings as they look to lift the championship. The former Oxford and Belle Vue rider will replace David Ruud who will continue to ride for the Pirates' British League Cup side.

Machine race to biggest win.
The Poole Pirates were made to walk the plank at Sandy Lane last night as the Silver Machine raced to their biggest victory of the season.

British longtrack success at Tonbridge.
The British Flag was flying high at Collier Street track on Sunday 24th August as former World Long Track Champion Kelvin Tatum took his second win in the championship series in front of his home fans.

Brundle: I'm going there to give it my best shot.
James Brundle will represent Mildenhall in the Conference League Riders Championship at Rye House on Saturday. "Rye House is never the easiest of away tracks but I'm going there to give it my best shot" said the 16 year old.

Wolff semi-final blow to Trelawny.
Trelawny will operate rider replacement for the injured Richard Wolff in the semi-final of the Premier Knock-Out Cup away to the Isle of Wight on Tuesday evening (7.30pm). Wolff damaged his wrist in last week's home win over Newcastle and has returned home to the
