Peterborough Pumas team boss Phil Wing is hoping veteran Ian Barney will carry on for another season - in a new role of rider/coach.
Ferjan stays with Belle Vue.
Matej Ferjan has agreed terms for another season with his parent club Belle Vue. The Slovenian returned to the club mid-way through last season and did enough to earn a 2002 contract.

Dalle' Andersson will return for his second season with Edinburgh Monarchs in 2002 after his capture on a full transfer from Coventry.

Jesper B Jensen has ended all speculation about his immediate future by agreeing terms to stay with Wolverhampton. The Danish international had been linked with both Peterborough and Belle Vue after a poor 2001 season.

Martin Dixon has become the latest new signing in Glasgow's revamped Premier League side. He joins George Stancl, James Grieves, Mick Powell, Kenny Olsson and David McAllan and his first appearance as a Glasgow rider will be at next month's Telford indoor ice event.

Boston Chairman Stephen Lambert will learn next month whether his dream of taking the club 'home' is still alive. A planning application for a site close to their former New Hammond Beck Road site will be considered on February 25 and Lambert is optimistic.

Life after Martin Dugard has officially started for Eastbourne with the announcement of their entire 2002 squad. Joe Screen, David Norris, Dean Barker, Stefan Andersson, Krzysztof Cegielski, Savalas Clouting and Toni Svab will line-up for the Eagles following the retirement of Dugard.
Lobb and Marsh back to Exeter.
Roger Lobb is on his way back to Exeter - after missing 18-months of action through suspension. Lobb has agreed terms with Falcons promoter Colin Hill to return to the club for their last season at the County Ground. Lobb was banned for failing a drugs test.

Sam Ermolenko is refusing to confirm reports of his retirement at the end of the 2002 season. The Wolverhampton legend has now joined Belle Vue in a loan deal from Monmore Green and in doing so he has rejected Peterborough.
