Mackay prepares for 2002 campaign.
Racers reserve Brendon Mackay has been getting plenty of track action down-under in Australia, as he builds up his fitness in readiness for the new British campaign which starts in March.
In the South Australian Championship meeting, Mackay scored 6 points in the heats, but failed to make the Final.
Unfortunately he had falls in two of his heats which cost him dearly points-wise. He did have one heat victory though.
In the recent Jarrad Priest Memorial meeting, Mackay finished 8th on the scoresheet after the running of the 6-rider heats - He scored 10 points.

This was a particularly pleasing performance from Mackay considering the list of the seven riders who finished in front of him in the heats: Nigel Sadler 19, Rusty Harrison 18, Brett Woodifield 17, Travis McGowan 17, Shane Parker 16, Mark Lemon 13 and Kevin Doolan 12.
Only the top 6 made the Final.
