Glasgow Tigers have agreed terms with another rider for the new season - but they will not name their man until the Supporters Club AGM on Monday.

The club have been linked with former Swindon favourite Martin Dixon and ex-Berwick star Scott Lamb, after allegedly missing out on the services of Edinburgh's Ross Brady. The Edinburgh rider is understood to have agreed terms to stay with Hull instead.

"It's been a hard slog but we're pleased with what we've pulled off and our team now has a decent look about it," co-promoter Alan Dick said.

Glasgow recently signed their fifth rider in the wake of the disappointment of also losing out on Josef Franc, with the capture of Swede Kenny Olsen on loan from Trelawny.
