New team manager for Peugeot.

Peugeot Sport today [Wednesday] announced the appointment of Nicola Gullino as World Rally Championship Team Manager.

Of Italian nationality, Gullino has already fulfilled the same function with rigour and skill with the Italian racing team, Grifone.

He replaces Francois Chatriot who, in agreement with Peugeot, has decided to leave the Velizy team to give "a fresh direction to his career".

Gullino had been Team Manager at Grifone since 1992, before that he was a professional co-driver for BMW Italy and Ford Italy.

Gullino takes up the position next week, on Tuesday April 22 [2003].
