"I am not sure what to expect, with two races planned I will use this weekend as a shakedown to familiarise myself with the car and team prior to the Monaco race," said the former Citroen, Ford and Subaru WRC star.
A range of top professional teams and drivers compete in powerful identical Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars and as most of the drivers are regulars in the series, McRae will need to adapt quickly to a car and circuit both of which he has no experience of, in order to be competitive.
There are thirteen championship rounds which support the Formula One World Championship. After two races in Bahrain and San Marino the series is led by Richard Westbrook from David Saelens. At each race there are two VIP Carrera's for celebrity drivers with starting numbers one and two.
Practice is on Friday afternoon with qualifying on Saturday and the race commences at 11.50hrs on Sunday prior to the F1 race.
