Loeb resumes test work with C4.

Citroen team leader, Sebastien Loeb was back in action earlier this week, as the French marque began their preparations for the Rallye Monte Carlo, the opening round of the 2007 season, with the all-new Citroen C4 WRC car.

Loeb, who took his third drivers' title in succession this year, despite having to sit out the final four events after being sidelined following his mountain bike accident at the end of September that left him with a broken arm, was in action on two days, before handing over the car to his team-mate, Daniel Sordo. Both were focusing on getting the car ready for Monte, which runs from January 19-21.

"Everything went well and we were all content with the work done," a spokesperson for Citroen told L'Equipe.

Although this was Seb's first test with the Citroen C4 since his accident, it was not the first time he had gotten back behind the wheel of a WRC car, as he did the reconnaissance in New Zealand and Britain with the Kronos-run Citroen Xsara WRC, as part of his recuperation drive. Loeb's next big outing will be in Paris, when he takes in the Race of Champions next weekend, December 15-16.
