Rallye Deutschland entry list confirmed.

The organisers of the Rallye Deutschland have announced that 106 crews will start their event next month - four more than for Finland, which had attracted the biggest entry to date this season, prior to the confirmed list of starters for this round.

All the manufacturer teams will attend the event, with the exception of the Munchi's Ford World Rally Team. The Munchi's squad had been due to do this event after having to miss the Rally de Portugal, but those plans have since changed and the team will do Finland instead.

In total 24 drivers will take part in World Rally Cars and in addition to the usual suspects, Toni Gardemeister will be back behind the wheel of a Astra-run Citroen Xsara WRC, the same team he competed with last year.

Ramsport will enter two Ford Focus RS WRC cars - for Guy Wilks and Andreas Mikkelsen, while Skoda will be represented by four privateers in Fabia WRC's, namely regular Jan Kopecky as well as Erik Wevers, Rene Kuipers and Harry Hissink.

In the FIA Junior Rally Championship category meanwhile 19 of the 21 'regulars' have nominated this event - including all the front runners.

Andrea Cortinovis and Vilius Rozukas will not take part.

Of the rest, over 25 runners will battle it out for the Group N honours including Red Bull Rallye team boss, Raimund Baumschlager.
