"These are very exciting times for North One Television. Taking control of ISC is a tremendous challenge and a big responsibility," said North One Television CEO Neil Duncanson.

"We're moving in a dizzying and vastly different media world than when we first came into the sport. Together with the teams, the events and the FIA our aim is to ensure the sport takes its rightful place in the digital era."

North One Television, which has produced the WRC television coverage for ISC for more than seven years, began purchase talks in the summer.

"I am really excited about the future in partnership with North One and working with our partners in the WRC community to demonstrate our commitment to raising WRC into a premier position as one of the world's greatest sports entertainment brands," added ISC managing director, Simon Long, who will become CEO of the company.
