The organisers of the Rallye de France-Tour de Corse have had to cancel SS1 of the event - the 18.10 kilometre-run through Monti Rossu-Pila Canale 1.
According to early reports the decision was taken due to the position of spectator cars.

"As the safety instructions were not been obeyed by the huge crowd of spectators that arrived a few minutes before the start of SS1 race control decided to cancel it," confirmed a statement on the events official website. "All the drivers covered SS1 as a liaison stage."
The action will now begin at 09.46 hours local time, with SS2, Belvedere-Bocca Albitrina.
