Citroen's Sebastien Loeb has retired from the Uddeholm Swedish Rally due to engine problems.

The Frenchman re-started this morning under the SupeRally after crashing out on Friday in SS4.

However the off on day 1 badly damaged his C4 WRC and the team opted to withdraw him following the mid-day service at Hagfors.

Speaking earlier in the day, Seb was not at all enthusiastic about re-joining the fold, especially as he was around 20 minutes off a place in the top ten.

"I am not satisfied with my position, but we are still competing," he told vysledky-rally.cz post-SS10. "My tactics for today? Go home!"
