Thierry Neuville looks poised to either remain with M-Sport or join Hyundai for the 2014 World Rally Championship season, it has been revealed.

Neuville is a man in demand given his fantastic form this year, and while there is speculation he has already signed a deal to drive for Hyundai, as yet nothing has been announced.

"I think it's quite clear it's between us and Hyundai, but I can't give an answer because I don't know," Wilson told the official WRC site when asked what the situation is with Neuville prior to this weekend's Rally de Espana.

"It's got to be 50-50 in view of what's happened this season because he can see how competitive our car and the team are.

"But obviously I can also see the appeal to Thierry in view of the long term situation with a new manufacturer. He has got to weigh up whether it would be better to stay with a car he knows will win, or switch to a team where everything is new."

Citroen meanwhile had been keen to sign the young Belgian, but he has decided not to return to the French manufacturer.

"We were talking with Thierry but now we have stopped the negotiations. Thierry stopped them," added Matton, who is now said to be considering five drivers for 2014, namely Mikko Hirvonen, Dani Sordo, Kris Meeke, Robert Kubica and Mads Ostberg.
