Bostrom excited, new spec for short Silverstone.

Renegade Koji Honda rider Ben Bostrom is looking forward to attacking the new short circuit at Silverstone with a virtually new spec Fireblade that is hoped will give him much more speed over the undeveloped machine he has been using so far this year.

The three week lay-off since Monza has allowed the Renegade team vital time to further improve his Honda, and coupled with the new circuit for the WSBK field at Silverstone - which will give the teams more laps during practice - Bostrom hopes the set-up on his machine can be massively fine-tuned.

"I think it will be a real benefit for us that we're riding on the International circuit," he said. "My only real race experience of the longer track was in the rain so I'm not losing out so much experience. The more laps we do the better because we can spend more time concentrating on set-up for each section, seeing where our improvements are. The bike is supposed to be quite a bit different from the previous spec I have ridden, so I can't wait to get out there in practice."
