Nannelli puts Ducati on WSS provisional pole.
Gianluca Nannelli on the SC Carrachi Ducati has taken provisional pole in this afternoon's first qualifying for the Alstare Corona Extra Suzuki Supersport Championship at Misano.
The Italian put in a 1min 38.226secs, just 0.117secs ahead of second place man Katsuaki Fujiwara on the Winston Ten Kate Honda. Fujiwara was tenth in practice this morning, but found something extra for qualifying.
Finally in a provisional third was Fabien Foret on the Team Megabike Honda, he did have a little off mid-session but was unhurt and able to continue.

Charpentier, the current championship leader, was fastest this morning but only finished seventh in qualifying - five places behind his team-mate Fujiwara. No doubt he will be seeking to redress the balance in second qualifying on Saturday.
Most of the session was lead by Kevin Curtain and his team-mate Broc Parkes on the Yamaha Motor Germany machines and it wasn't until the final few moments of the session that they got relegated to fifth and sixth positions.
