WSS: Charpentier retains his World title.

Sebastien Charpentier took the win that he needed while Kevin Curtain crashed out at Magny-Cours, allowing Charpentier to retain his number one plate.

Kenan Sofuoglu took second place to his team-mate on the Winston Ten Kate Honda. Team orders were in place for Sofuoglu to assist Charpentier if required however with Curtain crashing out on lap eight it wasn't such a big issue.
